Spring is a season of Change

A part of self care is the awareness of how we change. Spring a season of transition, where nature changes quickly. We all get to see the flowering trees change to green in a short period of time. We see bare trees grow leaves, we have longer and longer days and  we hear the birds singing and being very active.

In our body and mind, naturally feel this transition to warmer temperatures, longer days and nature’s blooming.  If we pay attention to our inner shifts we can more easily go with the flow as the season shifts.

You might notice your appetite for foods that kept you warm through the winter, changes to other lighter foods.  You might feel more desire to go outside, or a change in your energy levels.  These changes are natural. What isn’t as natural is fighting the natural flow.

In the spirit of spring, I wanted to send out a warm hug to all the Moms out there.  Happy Mother’s Day! I hope your day is filled with love and fun and maybe even a little pampering!
